Machines & production
Some trades run on heavy machinery and permits. Machines turn raw inputs into valuable artifacts through production chains, and Dr. Jackson sells many of them.
Known machines and devices

| Furnace | Takes modules such as the Junk Processing Module | Modules draw power. Until 48.3.12, the Junk Processing Module secretly drew twice the power it displayed. |
| Cryptographic desequencer | Works with blank disposable keycards | Blank keycards can’t go in the output slot (48.3.10). |
| Bottle printer | Makes bottles for the water trade | Upgradable in the demo. |
| Vacuum robot | Cleans the shop at night | Has a manual mode. |

The demo adds one more machine and a new challenge perk.
Modules draw power, and the game shows how much each one uses. Power numbers will be added from game data.
