Upper Levels

An Upper Levels customer

The Upper Levels live in safety and comfort several floors up, and come down with money. Some are servants shopping for an employer, some are bored, and some are testing how useful you are.

  • Visitors staying in the Lower Levels want its illicit pleasures: drink, tobacco, anything. Bored residents come shopping and ask for your best stock.
  • Private chefs look for exotic ingredients and unusual food; servants buy household items for their employers.
  • Charity organisers donate goods to struggling shops, or collect them for people in need below.

Perks switch on as your standing reaches each value: good ones at or above a positive number, penalties at or below a negative one.
