Wanted

Some customers are on Security’s wanted list, and reporting them pays. Officer Lun brings the list and the rules: there is an alarm button under your counter, and if someone on the list walks in, don’t listen to them — raise the alarm before they leave.

How reporting works

1. Match the face against the wanted list. Wanted people may show up under an ordinary title, such as Lower Level Citizen.
2. Press the alarm before they leave. Security makes the arrest, and the bounty is added to your account.
3. Be sure. A false report is fined.

A later instruction from Officer Lun widens the job: report every seller carrying mid-level contraband or worse. Your reputation may suffer, but Security pays according to how much contraband it seizes.

Odin Haraldsson’s bounty rises from 300 to 350 Credits on later visits.

Who they are

• James Bailey sells spare gear, 33% off if you take everything. Security wants him for ambushing its officers.
• The Butcher is just back from the Abandoned Sections with a satchel of goods to sell, a scav’s journal among them.
• Arthur Lafleur, an activist from the failed revolution, only wants to buy food and materials. Lafleur’s capture makes the station news.
• Odin Haraldsson asks you not to press the alarm and offers a deal: Odin’s people buy guns, ammo, armor, poison, supply crates and access cards, contraband included, for less than you’d get elsewhere. Odin leaves a card so you can call when you have stock.
• Li Bei Wen claims to be an innocent researcher, framed after developing a non-addictive painkiller, and sells samples to fund an escape from the station.
• Juan sells extra food, with more to come.
• John Smith says his name is so common that Security keeps mistaking him for a robber.
• Leroy walks in as a Security inspector. Impersonating an officer is a serious crime.

Lou, who is tied to the Black Market, is on the poster too. If Security can’t hold her, she comes back one morning with a threat and an invitation to play her games. This build has no shop visit for her, so she carries no bounty here.

Choosing not to report

You can let a wanted customer go and trade with them instead; some of their offers are good. But report a wanted person who has become your contact, like Odin, and they call you a traitor on the way out.
